After a Winter Hibernation Our First Search and Rescue Class Was a Great Success

February 25th to March 1st was such a wonderful experience and quite a milestone for Argus Rising. We held our very first class under the new leadership of Kim and Joey Edwards. Our fabulous students were from Brownsburg Indiana, Hurst, Keller and Springtown Texas. Not only do we thank our students but, also the BARA Church in Trophy Club Texas for their wonderful hospitality. Here is a summary of the 5 day class: Monday was a classroom day. We covered the basics of what Search and Rescue is. This included SAR search techniques, terminology, UAV SAR flight patterns and SAR scenarios. Tuesday was a flight day. We flew several mock missions focusing on team formation, roles and communication.
